Nice coffee and digging out some board games, but I get the vague feeling it's not quite as good as it could be, maybe the limited good snacks or lack of smiling?

That Churnet Valley cafe is quite amazing - like an old people's home where everything is for sale. The puddings are immense!

angelas in millington pastures near pocklington.not much use on a climbing trip but a life saver on the return leg of 80+mile trip in to a block head wind.only open at weekends unless you ring arrange before hand.

many fond memories in the Wriggly Tin, nr the Tor (many mid session breaks with the Harris and Busby, before winging over to Rubicon..).
and being a broomhill resident i've got to plug remo's - v friendly, nice coffee, good atmosphere and 1 min walk from the pad!
also, honoury mention to ed morgan who has an uber amazing coffee machine of doom (with those nice fancy ameretto biscuit things and everything)
also FOB in town, good relaxed vibe and good for latte on the zoom out to the crag straight from work.

If your in the Lakes or North Lancs and heading into Yorks, Inglesport's cafe is the mut nuts, friendly staff home made scran, massive brews and funny as fook old skool locals!!!

As the FNG on the site I have to say first of all congrats all round to you guys great work on the forum here, it's kept me well entertained, been a bit of a voyeur for these past few months toiling away at work and this page is pretty much all that's got me through.
So again cheers to all, I have no favourite eatery but, there used to be a waitress who worked at the notorious Pete's who was by far the foxiest girl to grace any cafe I've been in, she was called Nia and completing a psychology degree with me at Bangor at the time, so much free tea.

I think thats a great option for a new post, where's the best waitress...
