Your right  - its a complicated issue as there are so many things happening on the Peak boulders that its hard to keep up. We are trying to address issues as they crop up - its just that they have all come at once it seems - just as i have got in post so to speak! Anyway any help on all matters bouldering erosion is greatly appreciated.

I have to be honest. Some areas in Font make me miserable because of the batteredness of them, but I'm not going to stop climbing there (maybe I would if it was part of a "improve Bas Cuvier" project. I think I try to be sensitive to the crag envrionment, but last time I was at Plantation (ages ago) I took the shortcut from the gate to the Pebble.

I think informed debate is the only long term way that issues like crag impact get delt with. Only a genuine acceptance of new behavior by the majority of crag users will cause lasting change.
I think that a governing body can perform a very usefull role in creating debate and raising awarness of issues. Creating posters and so forth is one way of doing this, but it is only a one element in the longer term.

I miss the tree under the tor. Who took that away and why?

I thought you'd taken it for that lifesize replica of the Tor you've been working on.

Not sure whether I approve of those. Double standards are the answer though, and I shall be clipping them, cursing as I pass.

Had terrible problems with the Tor modelling. Ben Moon keeps escaping - slippery little fcuker.
