went on a walk with the dogs today and came across a few boulders in the woods below the laybye parking to froggatt ( on the bend by what used to be the white gate ). just across the road then left down a little stream there was a small buttress/ boulder with some crimps chalked up on it and then further along there were a few more bits of chalk on other boulders/ walls and then one on another bouldering just by the square field ( thats the field thats like a rectangle shape that you can see from the village). just after a little more info like grades and what was done that i might of missed really, you know just curious. . cheers

the first bit you mention sounds like the Computer Say No stuff. Does that look right? Can't work out what the other stuff could be - was it below the road that runs beneath Froggatt?

yeah cheers that was one of the walls, the computer say no stuff looks good ( i know, new peak bouldering paradise....  ) but there was a overhanging sort of buttress to the left that was chalked on slopey crimps which seemed good and then further right again there was another technical wall with a small overhang at the bottom then further right again ( i know, theres more esoterica) there was a bouldering with the right arete chalked? thinking of popping up and brushing some more of them.

nnaahh, the ones im trying to describe are still in the froggatt over the road bit of the crag, will pop up again tomorrow and take some photos. the slopey crimpy one is left of computer say stuff and then there is the hard looking wall just below the road and right of computer...  then right again and down a little is a boulder with a lovely flat landing, this is near the square field and the arete has been chalked. very confusing if you havent been i imagine. will try to go up soon with a pad and shoes.

sorry to drag this up again. i had a play on one of the problems v3ish which was good but i think they are best left alone as the ground seems to erode very easily and on one of the boulders you have to stamp on bluebells to reach it and it clearly isnt pretty so i think they might be best left alone for rediscovery.
