Looking smooth lagers. I vaguely recall not being able to do the stand start to Serenata as part of the route and having to swing in from the right.

This turned out to be good fun. Sit start to Serenata at Stanage.
Felt about 6B.
I used reach. There is probably a better way.

Looking forward to it. I really like Usyk, but Fury looks in good shape and I think his size will win out. I predict some punishing body shots from Fury and Usyk going down late on.

P.s. I'm no expert

Come on then, who’s your money on. On recent performances Usyk is probably the safe bet but you certainly can’t write off Fury.

I think Usyk takes it on points.

Thanks everyone picking up on the finance issue in my absence. The inability to provide a breakdown for 2022 should have prompted bigger questions by Members Council rather than meek acceptance.

I’m afraid further very bad news about the 2023 outturn is on its way that beggars belief. I understand releases from the Board, MC and the CEO are expected over the next couple of days.

This will lay bare the extent of the Board’s complete lack of financial control over the organisation and members money they are custodians of and responsible for.

It is an absolute disgrace.

Interesting article, thanks Slabs. Listened to a few of his tracks, a lot of industrial and noise sounds in the music, very intense!

In tune with various thread recently, how about Aurora, produced by Steve Albini, from pioneering noisy drone (((unts - Sunn O)))

This is Sunn O))) at their best, no rhythm, no melody, no vocals, no discernible structure, just a barrage of guitar drones, rumbles, feedback and harmonics
Experiencing this live, lost in the thick fog, the room shaking, people fainting, whole body vibrating from the wall of sound attack was totally overwhelming - akin to a powerful psychedelic or religious experience. This piece describes it better than I can.
For something a bit more accessible, Monoliths and Dimensions is a beautiful record, with their trademark drones but wider instrumentation, orchestra and eerie spoken word vocals.

Grimers pod with him (linked on the page above) is really good if you want the details.
