Reviving this one. We're off to Andalucia to stay at with friends for few days (near Torre Del Mar) and then have 4 days to go climbing. Thinking of staying to Antequera? Other option is save some money and just stay with them - bit of a trek to El Chorro, but there some more local stuff (Villanueva / Torcal etc.)

You need the Up Lace LV- the pink ones not the blue one.

Lace and Rise sizing is the same.

Alex Barrows has completed the often eyed up link of  Hard Times SS (8B) into Sean's Roof (8A/+) to give "Pretence of Youth".

It's been given the ultimate cop-out slash grading monstrosity: 8B+/C/9a/+!

That grade is most dedicated piece of UKB trolling I've ever seen  ;D

Congrats on the FA Alex!

equipment / Unparallel sizing question - Up lace
« Last post by Steve R on Yesterday at 04:13:50 pm »
If I'm a 7.5 uk in TN pros and also a 7.5 uk in Up rise LV what size Up lace should I get? Also 7.5?
The TN pros are tighter fit than the up rise lv - which is ideal as bouldering vs routes shoe.  I want the Up lace for routes primarily so after the same sort of fit as the up rise LV.
Thanks

I guess my view of this hinges on what "investment" means. I always struggle with how the word "investment" has both the meaning of paying people to build factories, invent stuff, etc and also the very different meaning of buying financial securities in a secondary market. The second meaning sometimes just equates to using wealth to claim a stream of income that would be generated anyway but instead claimed by whoever else was holding that security. My impression is that such "investment" often does little or nothing to facilitate/induce the industry "invested in".
