Where the best place to get a mountain bike wheel trued round here, and how much will it cost me?

Is it still JE James in Chesterfield for a fiver?

I recently had a road wheel trued at 18 bikes in Hope when I purchased my S/Cruz. They seemed to do a perfectly good job. Seems a bit too technical for JE James in my mind?

Big phil has had dealings with a wheel building specialist in Hillsborough, somewhere near Butterworths, not sure it has much of a shop front as I believe they are mainly web based/mailorder. Can't remember what they are called but Phil will know.

chesser james do a good job (yes, really...) but that's because only one bloke does it there - part time. He's a really sound bloke. Called Pete the wheel builder.

I've also had good service from 18bikes, by far the best shop for MTB in striking distance of sheffield. Though they only sell bespoke frame build ups they are happy to work on less bling gear... they've sorted my marin out just fine! The waiting time for service is usually no more than 5 days.... and it's not expensive for labour.
