I just rode from Hyde Park in Leeds to Almscliff, Ilkley, the Cow and Calf, the Rocky Valley, Ilkley and back to Hyde Park again on my old bike that I'm pretty sure is heavier than me. I am bushed.

Think I'll stick to climbing.

If you had missed out the bits involving Rocky Valley you could have had a nice gentle road ride and done some climbing as well. Off road bicycle work is just too hard.

I think I'm getting quite into this cycling malarkey on wet weather days.
Went from Settle to Stainforth to Malham to Airton to Winterburn to Hetton to Rylstone to Grassington to Hebden to Appletreewick to Bolton Abbey to Eshbay to Skipton the other day.

Anywhere I can get a dead cheap bike that can handle roads and dirt tracks and is reasonably light with no rear suspension? Second hand?
