fingerboarding long term
July 14, 2008, 02:05:25 pm
I decided at the start of the year to use my fingerboard all year round to improve my finger strength.
But I am trying to balance it with my climbing to get the best results.

I currently fingerboarding 2-3 sessions and then spend one day climbing outside a week for a month. I Then have a month of just climbing ,Then starting again.

This has seen some results so far, just wondered if others used their fingerboard sessions with normal climbing in a more effective way.

Am I fingerboard too much? or could I use the fingerboard together with climbing in the same session with better results?

I have my own answers but just wanted some different more experienced feedback.

Do some dead hangs or other maximal contractions on your fingerboard when you get back from climbing.

You should see some improvements then.
