One of my techno homies has made a dvd rip from a VHS boxset of HST interviews, film clips and assorted cool shit/ephemera and stuck the first part on his server.  It's hilarious as you'd expect.

I'll seek permission to link to it.  He's not sorted the 2nd part yet but it will be 1.2GB (!)

Also, for for the fanboys out there:

Damned fine read that Houd .... Far more warts and all than most of the usual blessed Hunter hagiographies , and so much better for it ....

Good.  Look forward to it being gifted me for my 36th after I drop hints to zee frau.

HST film #1 (A small file)

HST film #2 (1.2GB)

This will not interest everyone, for fanboys only (visual quality is poor as this is a VHS rip, but it doesn't matter too greatly).  The 2nd film is mostly concerned w/ George McGovern's '72 losing campaign for the presidency, so I doubt it will appeal to those who haven't read Fear & Loathing on the Campaign-Trail, HST's reportage originally published piecemeal by Rolling Stone magazine.
