That is a rather cool piece of rock and quite a line.  Any idea what it goes at?

rumours are a very inflated v11....

Only person to ever call it V10 was our very own Mr Mawson. Being tall helps on this problem.

There's at least one more.

Someone who actually did it i presume?  ;) I would class it only as soft as Fata Morgana. Same kind of thing, one move wonder, easier for tall. I only have a bee in my bonnet as it was my 11!

My thoughts exactly.  I reckon most days I feel sad at some point in the day thinking about the fact that I'm not climbing at Castle Hill every weekend anymore.  Oh well, I've still got Pex.

Thanks for the photos Iesu.

I want to go too. Such a great place.

Didn't there used to be a tree next to the Pinch at Caley? Or am I imagining it? I seem to remember bouncing off it once.

Not that I remember, but I don't often go to Caley unfortunately.  Maybe you fell over the top of the boulder, there is a tree on the other side.

i said it would get 7c in the peak and not a grade more. if people were to remember rightly the first time i pulled on i strained my left hamstring doing a gay dropknee. i would be ok with people taking 7c plus cos of the walk in, the fact its the only problem there, you have to pay 20 dollars to do it, and the fact that it has never seen 8a.

if it is 8a i stand corrected, and amazed at the number of people that did this 8a in one hour.

v4's in hueco are hard, high, and scary.

search your heart adam. you know as well as i do it's not 8a, that doesn't mean it's not v11 tho.

Keep the castle hill shots coming Jesse - they keep reminding me where the worlds best bouldering really is.

Shots of Castle Hill remind you of Almscliff?  Can't really see the similarity myself...

Believe me Stubbly one - even I'd swap the 'cliff for a condo near the hill...
I expect the forest crew to pick up on that original statement though.

So you didn't mean to refer to this thread then?
Cos that would be unfair, what with it being PSHOS...
