Incredible shrinking feet

Is the fact that I wear small climbing shoes on my feet cause them to shrink (about a full size in two years) or is this just genetic? I've accepted that they have horribly disfigured my feet but do they cause shrinkage? Every year I get rock boots half a size smaller than the previous - I hope this doesn't continue although rock boots will become cheaper.

When is someone going to start doing comercial rubber feet transplants as these flesh and bone ones are fuckin shite!

When I gave up climbing for many years, my shoe size went back up at least one full size, and the weird "horn" on the back of my ankle completely dissapeared.

These days I leave my boots a little bigger which has the benefits of not having to take them off every ten minutes too.

probably also summert to do with your feet's tolerance to tight boots incearsing as time goes on. Also depends on the brand you wear. I'm a size 10 trainer, take 8.5 in boreal and 5:10, but have got into 5.5 in sportivas.

When I started climbing I used to buy size 9 trainers, now I buy 8 or 8.5s.
