I'll tell you what's up w/ bleaustone:

They are w/ out doubt the best.  But they are not worth the dough compared to HOLDZ.  They just aren#t.  They make them in Eastern EU for cheap labour yet end up weirding their designs to reduce postage weight.

Support a British firm that will do it for far far less, they're not THAT good matey, fuck em off.

No you are wrong Paul. They make them in their own Factory in Sheffield and have done for the past 2 years.

You a shareholder Dave?  ;)

No harm done.

(Actually, the info came from someone who makes climbing holds - and as such not something one would think to check up on - not I anyway . . .)

Doesn't surprise me where your info was from, seems that a few of the competition are misinformed. Bleaustone certainly used to have holds made in eastern Europe but have been making Quality Sheffield product for a while now.
Not a shareholder Paul, but it is run by very good friends and as such I feel obliged to put right any incorrect assumptions. Not your fault.

Sure thing Dave - like I said - they are the best kit, they are - & I'd certainly support any indigenous firm (even if they were more expensive) than any company that chose to farm-out the graft to cheap foreign workers (say in China for example, where it seems everyone chooses to turn to these days in order to turn a profit w/ out a thought for the filth the Chinese pump untreated into their rivers and atmosphere and the oil that must be burnt to get the product to Europe).

I apologise again, I got it wrong and don't wish to tar Bleaustone w/ any dirt brush strokes.  Their product is strong.

Well it's really not miss-informed if they did actually make them in Eastern Europe, it's just out of date info.

Nice work Sherlock.
I'm not going to get into the issue of tenses, that would be patronising.
