Finalcrit.com, setup by an ex student at Liverpool is a dedicated online portfolio site for all those involved in the creative industries (architects/photographers/graphic designers/trashbats etc.)
Employers do use the site and it's a good, free means for you to get your work seen (especially good if you're working freelance). I think there's currently an allowance of 100 images per member (not sure of file sizes etc) but this may increase in time.
