Me and Mrs FD have just had a look at the prices for Boosh tickets at Buxton and Sheffield and they are charging 99 quid for the cheapest seats.  WTF are they playing at ?? Someone tell me that this is some kind of elaborate joke..

Ah, you forget you live in Rip-off Britain:  The country a pint o' pish costs 3 quid.  A pair of running shoes?  Over a ton.   A single CD?  Up to 20.

Well I would but they have neither in the Reich.  Some CDs do cost nearly 20 sheets.  Beer is sometimes over 3 quid and rarely under 2.50 these days.  Hoegardden often nearly 5 freakin' quid.  Running shoes are easily 80 sheets -yes, I know I can get a pair for a fiver, but would you want to?

Off topic, but case in point:

Yesterday I purchased some new spectacles - not only were the frames gratis (no NHS here neither) but specially thin and light glass lenses w/ non-reflective surface came to a staggering €41!

Now that is gobsmacking.  Last pair I bought were titanium and cost a ton (quid) and that was in Thailand . . .
