I've been listening to Hatred for Mankind by Dragged Into Sunlight and it's proper mental.  Horrible, unpleasant, uncomfortable and downright noisy. Not everyones cup of tea....

I bought it :).

I'm eagerly awaiting the Archgoat CD I ordered but doubt it will arrive in time for Xmas :(

This might have already been posted. But for anyone who likes their Fugazi this is very cool.

:great:  Thanks so much for this.  Love Fugazi!  Here's hoping their 'indefinite hiatus' comes to an end sometime soon.

There was a nice Fugazi article in December's edition of Mojo.

Just found out that Refused have reformed to do a bunch of live shows, including Download this year. Not quite sure what to make of it all, but thought some slightly angsty boulders might be interested . . .

I for one love a bit of Refused, brings back good memories.

I have recently popped my smatphone cherry and have downloaded Tunein for listening to radio.

If any of you fine metal loving peeps point me in the direction of the better stations, it would be much appreciated    :please: There seem to be an awful lot of christian rock stations out there

Ok, it's not super heavy, but it is fucking sweet. IMHO. The new Rush. 40 years in one song:

At 7:20 long it certainly felt like 40yrs....
Did you not mean to post this in the cover versions thread? It sounds like Top 40 version of this:

Further to this post. I just came back from the Refused gig at Manchester Academy. Totally amazing. I was pretty apprehensive before I went incase it was terrible. All fear alleviated it was awesome. Considering I was on my tod, I definitely think it was one of the best gigs I've been to.  :punk:

New Dragged Into Sunlight LP, Widowmaker.  Quite different from the last one. Hints of Godspeed. Really good stuff.

Speaking of which the new Godspeed record is superb - and heavy.

I just listened to it and was a bit disappointed. Much preferred Yanqui on first listening. I'll give it another go later when no one's trying to talk to me.

Thanks to stubs (and others) for recommending it.
The new Deftones Album is Awesome!!
Reminds me why I spent most of my GCSE year almost exclusively listening to white pony and adrenaline.

Back to their best
