Sorry Nibz,

Enigma machine broken; my psychic is on holiday; and there are too many roofs on Planet Earth to hazard a close guess . . .     In Italy?

No wait!  You said grey skies (sound of cogs whirring) Eureka!!   You're in Wales!

I have found a recipe in the Maleus Malificarum and w/just a touch more mandrake and ah . . .  yes . . .   a badger's toe . . .   I shall have the power of third sight!

That's what I like about modern bouldering. The calmness, the restraint, the triumph of subtley over flamboyance.

Piss funny video, Mr T. Very errrr....colourful....outfit too.

I'd wager not.

I'd just like to say how much I like the new shorn Nibz:  he really suits a mohican.  But I'm a traditionalist:  long hair for ladies;  short hair for men.

so...
grade:
i think it's somewhere around 8a. the moves are hard, and the first one is hard and very very precarious, you can never lose your feet (except for the big dyno, and that is a big swing). briefly, i think it's hard and around 8a.
name:
i'm not sure i'll give it a name. on houdini's suggestion i was thinking about "l'ultimo dei mohicani" ("the last of a mohicans"), but maybe i will wait until i (hopefully) do the harder line. it goes the same, except that doesn't dyno right to the good flake, but stays under the roof and takes a very small edge for right hand, and then goes, somehow, to the good and final hold. that will be alot harder and a real real challenge for everyone.

ok, i'm bracing...

jim,
it's not secret at all, just private. it's a small crag we call "chiesina" (small church) near the mount amiata, here in southern tuscany. i always give the tour to visiting climbers, uncle has been there and sent hard.

Sounds a bit eliminate judging from the vid. Looks like a great line already, worthy of the name.
