Hi all,

I was wondering if I could pick the vast pool of knowledge we are lucky to have?
I'm looking for some info on where is best to camp in the Peak for some bouldering in early March??

I'm not that fussed whether its campsite/in a field or in a crag - any ideas welcome!

Robin Hood's Cave, Stanage

Campsite at North Lees, within spitting distance of the Plantation.

Eric Byne's campsite near Birchen, not extensive for bouldering, but would be walkable to get to Gardom's and then on to Baslow.

I spent Friday night in a shite Gelert tent in the field on the road up to The Roaches. £2 per person per night so not bad. Not far to walk to the Roaches so you've got the Lower Tier boulders, Doxeys, Skyline etc on your doorstep.

They do awesome cooked breakfasts, and there's a pub about 1 minute walk away. Can't remember the name of the farm, but it's reet gud

Pindale Farm in Hope is a good bet. It's always quite and has heated toilets / showers (a good thing at that time of the year!).
