Where's Kez.

Bet the bastard threw her into the canal in a bag full of bricks (probably on a Thursday as he'd been busy the rest of the week)

Bo' selector redeemed Craig David for me. I used to think he was a twat, but now I'm just amused whenever I see him.

But didn't he kick off about it in a Jason Lee/Fantasy Football League style saying it had ruined his career?

I thought he did which made him even more of a twat.

Just chuck the whole concept of "selfies" in there and be done with it.

People who don't pull over into the fast lane to let you out on a dual carriageway when it's perfectly safe for them to do so. Not sure if it's due to stupidity, laziness or a dangerous combination.

Insurances lawyers.
Each time we have a civil case in which there's an insurance that should cover the damage, they just show up in Court and say "this insurance does not cover this particular case".
Every fuc***** time.

Insurance brokers. The high-end ones who peddle stuff like directors' E&O always seem like venal crooks who play up people's fear of liability and other litigation.

I've seen a lot of clients being urged to take out "IR35 insurance" playing on the idea that you might be investigated by HMRC for being a one man band Ltd Co.

I was interested to see how you could actually insure against something so vague and having read about the policy it's a pretty audacious scam even by insurance company standards.

They ask you a series of questions to see if you "qualify" for the insurance, the clever bit being that if you qualify there's absolutely no way your company would fall within the jurisdiction of IR35 legislation anyway (as the questions are basically the tests applied by HMRC). So you'd be paying them for fuck all.

 :greed:

It's an even better one than mobile phone (or "gadget") insurance which most people take out without realising that they're already covered on their home policy.

Insurances lawyers.

Every fuc***** time.

And re mobile phone insurance, a mum at Raf's school tried claiming on hers when her daughter dropped her S3 on to a metal beam and smashed the screen but was told that, despite being covered for accidental damage, smashed screens weren't included. W.T.F.

You couldn't make it up (where's Littlejohn? Or is he already in Room 101?).

So basically I say yes. Throw insurance brokers, insurance lawyers and the whole bastard industry in there and let's start again.

Whilst it's courteus to move over they are under no obligation to do so, so it's a little harsh to call them stupid. The onus is on you to merge safely with the existing traffic.

If there's a nice long slip road then I think it's more down to the person joining.. Though if it's a pokey small turn out then it can be a pain if no-one lets you out. I think some drivers have a real problem being able to match their speed to the motorway speed on order to merge. A friend failed his Canadian driving test for 'not merging at a fast enough speed'.. Wish we had something like that here..

People who trundle along in the outside lane of the dual carriageway with no-one in the inside lane and ne'er a junction in sight.

Electric hobs, i've probably previously nominated these hated items but hey better safe than sorry.
I hate these things, I find it hard to put into words the level of contempt I have for them, so I won't bother. Bastard fucking fuckers.

Add to that the twats who can't leave the middle lane of the motorway, or lane 2/3 if it's the M1 near Leicester...

I think some drivers have a real problem being able to match their speed to the motorway speed on order to merge.
A lot of people seem to dawdle down the sliproad at whatever speed they fancy, then seconds before joining the carriageway they finally check their mirrors and have a panic when they see that there isn't a gap waiting for them.

Drivers who don't indicate when turning right at roundabouts are a pain and this seems to be becoming more common for some reason.

Worst though are tailgaters. I get to see a lot of accidents in my job and the majority of them are multiple vehicles with front/rear damage.  I heard a program on R4 a while ago where they asked some coroners what they had changed in their personal lives as a result of what they had learned from their job.  Two of them said that they now left a much bigger gap from the car in front.

This is Aberdeenshire; it's either small, pokey or small and pokey.

This x 1000. Glad I don't have to drive to work very often any more as even a couple of junctions on the M1 every day was enough to raise the blood pressure.  :furious:
