It takes 17 weeks to remove chewing gum from Oxford Street but only 10 days for it to be covered in gum again.
Biodegradable chewing gum

I do when I'm at work sometimes; Not sure why but I find chewing gum quite helpful for staying awake on long night drives.

It's most likely purely psychological - I started doing it years ago because somebody told me that it's impossible to fall asleep whilst chewing.

I'm pretty sure I've read that this is not the case but it still works for me - I'm convinced I won't fall asleep on a subconscious level or something

Right - that which makes my teeth grind at the moment.

Just what the fuck is going on with mobile adverts at the moment?

I mean, I can just about stomach those 'mission documentaries' that there have been so many of, but how come mobile phone service providers have caught the bug? How is this meant to make me want to choose one over the other? The idiots are winning.

A 'red party' to empower a load of ginners - great idea, but the music suggested seemed to be Simply Red...I mean seriously - a party with Simply Red as the soundtrack? I'd rather stick a fork in my eye.

And Josh Ward and his fucking band...if he used one of his abundance of free texts to contact me I'd meet up with him if only to give him a massive slap upside his stupid head.

[/random ranting]

When he says an unfunny punchline and then repeats the unfunny punchline just in case you didn't get it the first time it really winds me me up, but not quite as much as MM. I jsut want to punch that fat face and every time I see it.

i'd just nominate advertising executives. particularly the ones who came up with "webuyanycar.com".

Harry Hill actually used to be really genius back before he started all the puppet-based shit on TV. I've got a VHS of him doing standup back in probably the late 1990s and its totally inspired. Not that accessable either sicne he switches back to previous jokes he was half way through telling 15 minutes earlier, often having 5 or 6 jokes on the go at any one time. its just a shame that mainstream TV sucess demands a more unchallenging brand of comedy.

Agree totally. Hill's stand up used to be fucking genius. Great Dane? Quiche Lorraine.

Found the proper quote.......

Quote
I think dogs should only be allowed to eat food that rhymes with their names. Under this system Poodles would only be able to eat noodles or strudel. But if you think about it that is the only dog which rhymes with a food so that's probably why the system isn't in effect. No, stop trying to think of a dog which rhymes with a food there isn't one. Stop it!

(later)

Quiche Lorraine, Great Dane. No, I won't accept it.

(later)

Labrador, lobster thermidor. OK, I'll accept that one.

I'll stop now but Harry Hill isn't allowed into Room 101.
