as the title suggests really, heading up north next month and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for things to have a shot at? preferably steep things that aren't height dependent!
cheers

Good list! Where's Pine Tree Arete?

The Horn? 6C? Are you on crack? Great Problem but 6B max.

Pine tree arete is on the Yule Log boulder, which is down below The Horn.

Cheers, looks like an ace problem! I'll scope it out next time it's dry!

In addition to the above I'd suggest

Baby Spice at Ilkley (with First arete, the only worthwhile thing there in that grade range?)
Pair in a Cubicle at Brimham
Sulky Little Boys at Slipstones

On a tangental Caley tip, how dry/green was it in general when you were up there?

Was wondering how long it'd be before you got twitchy. I predicted 4 hours into yesterday you'd have Caryl at the Cromlechs ;)

sorry man, just noticed this..

was at the crag end and most things had frosty tops.. slabbier areas were green (mr smooth etc) and a bit dirty.. some problems had some seepage.. (eg pocket on the flapjack trav).. having said this blocs that were in the open or near pine trees were mint.. the horn, pine tree arete and two squirrels were grippy as f**k, ranieri's looked bueno.. all this is a bit academic I guess as its tipped it down since...
