They all seem a bit confused over this one - is it 8c or 8c+

I like the way Sharma doesn't grade stuff any more.

i recon he should still make an attepmt at grading stuff - better to have a completely subjective grade given by him based on what it felt like on that day rather than a grade given by others based purely on speculation.

Thats one of the question i posed to him for my interview with him. I am doing it for our new site, thesend.co.uk. Not live yet, as still trying to get together a load of content

I think it's quite funny - he's either doing it for the attention and to ensure repeats, just to piss people off or just because he doesn't do it for the numbers....

Is he going to do the interview then? I'll look forward to it - when are you planning to go live?

Yep, he has the questions and is working on them as we speak.

Also interviews planned with Dave Graham and Lisa Rands. Both have agreed

As for the site, well, you know what these things are like, i wouldnt want to commit

Ask him what he's ever done at Bell Hagg.

Or Roche Abbey for that matter.

You can interview me if you like, you could ask questions like "how come with your scientific training and campus power you have achieved so little in 10 years"

I am not suprised that dave agreed, he is a realy nice guy and realy down to earth.  He spent last winter in font and just didnt get time.  He seemed prety syked about coming over when I was speaking to him.  Maybe next winter.
Cheers

Yeah climbed with him in font.  He was generaly quite weak and crap, very uninspiring, only managed an 8b as a warm up on a very warm night :eek3: .
He was trying a new problem, a sit start to the aformentioned 8b.  We walked to the crag and he had a guick run through of the moves of the sitter and then said "i wonder if I do the stand up it might get me psyked" and he did, in his usual fashion of slapping at the tinyist things and holding them.   It was very impressive to say the least.
Cheers

James

Saw him too when we were in Font.

It was a bit wet and we were up a the Autre Toit (sp) and he was on the sitter to Total Eclipse. The last moves out of the side crack were wet and he was just lapping it time after time up to that point. He must have done it about  15 times on the trot without a breather

F*cking amazing.
