It's probably not what you're after (i.e. not much in the way of techno), but I 'listen-again' to 6music on the internet a lot. The day time schedule is pretty weak these days, but the Marc Riley, Gideon Coe, Tom Robinson, Guy Garvey and Don Letts evening shows are well worth checking out.

BassDrive - Drum 'n' Bass

Scratch Radio - mento, ska, rocksteady, reggae &  dub

TSF Jazz - Parisian Jazz station, picked up on this whilst in Font once.

Soma FM - Various stations, Groove Salad, Drone Zone and Space Station are all okay for chilled tunes.

Guy Garvey and Don Letts evening shows are well worth checking out

agree regards these two si, garvey plays some great stuff (although his egotism irritates me, but then i remember he is a front man!) - as mentioned last.fm is hard to beat IMHO

I see what you mean about Guy Garvey, but I've always taken his shtick as, at least partly, tongue in cheek. Great music though; I sometimes listen to his show twice, especially since Gideon Coe got moved from the daytime slot. Don't, whatever you do, listen to his replacement, George Lamb - the most irritating and musically clueless man on the face of the earth!

But there's room for more, will check out LFO/Soma.  I'd totally forgotten about UK stations 3 & 4, the curse/awesomeness of Auntie was lost for a moment.

The French jazz looks promising, hope they play the more rocky scronk stuff.
