Maybe, I've yet to sample the delights of foreign mountain biking so just a tad envious some people on this forum seem to spend half their summer on foreign soil it just adds salt to the wounds

Really worth it, u get a years UK riding in 5 days, easy.

Even compared to uplifts, it's so much better.

You need to go at least once just to see if what they say is true ?

Speaking to a previous editor of climb mag recently he said it was the best place he'd been MTB ing say compared with the alps

I am sure this is probably true, but: Is the holiday going to be so good that the 3X cost on an alpine holiday is justifiable?

Especially as some of the Euro resorts have upped their game somewhat in recent years. The jury is still out for me atm  :-\

Quality in a jaw-dropping, shit-the-bed kind of way:

Watch this first :

Brilliant  :clap2:

Some balls going over the bridge, and the wooden fence on the edge of the play park is cool.

Whistler.

I don't think it's good enough to go all that way for just a week of biking, you will barely have rcovered from the jetlag by the time you come back! I've been summer and winter (although for only a day in the summer) and yes it's good, but not good enough to justify it (IMHO) but you would maybe get more from it i if you were a hardcore go big downhiller. Be fun to go for longer when the snowpark on Blackcomb Glacier is still there though, and spend a day on the kickers and pipe, plus some time climbing in Squamish / hanging out Vancouver / surfing on vancouver Island.

The sound Cam Zink makes when he hits the deck on the non helmet cam footage is quite sickening innit? And the helmet cam footage is amazing. God knows how he walked away.
