Mentioned this on another thread a few months ago, but I'd highly recommend Ali Farka Toure.

Stuff that I have been listening to lately:

Godspeed you Black Emperor - Lift your Skinny Fists to Heaven... and Slow Riot for a New Canada would be my recommendations but it's all good.
Do Make Say Think - Goodbye Enemy Airship the Landlord is Dead and & Yet & Yet - again it's all good.
One Speed Bike - Droopy Butt Begone
Exhaust - Exhaust

All of these are off the Constellation label and may not be available on I-tunes

Boards of Canada - Music Has the Rights to Children is awesome and the follow-up albums are really good too.
Mercury Rev - All is Dream
Massive Attack - Mezzanine - I had forgotten just how good this album is but you will need good headphones to get the best out of IMO
Radiohead - In Rainbows

Will post more when I think of them.

Unkle - Science Fiction. Class album with guest vocals from the likes of Thom Yorke, Noel Gallagher and Richard Ashcroft. Pure quality!

I'd say anything by Kings of Leon. Fairly well heard of but fucking brilliant.

I fully expect bad karma for this, but I have been enjoying Dizzy Rascal's new stuff.

Never thought I'd say that!
