Most played on my Itunes..

With twice as many plays as the number two, this is , I didn't realise, far and away my favorite tune.
Its a fantastic cover of Straight outta Compton. FANTASTIC.

Tis akin to angels singing.

"...Gs up hoes down while you mother fuckers bounce to this..." etc etc

No, no, no, no, and no again. It's a travesty. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Some things should be left untainted, and that NWA track is one of them. I'm going to have to go and listen to the original just to cleanse my head of that horrible drippy delivery. :wall:

...Phew, that's better. :dance1:

I agree with Simon. It's a novelty record. What's good about it is hearing some sweet-voiced young lady say 'Fuck'. It's like them lounge singer versions of punk tracks that used to get shat out every now and then a few years back. In fact, doesn't Ricky V Valens do a lounge version of SOC too?

I like it - a bit like Nouvelle Vague who cover lots of old new wave with a sweet French singer.

Webbo, I know, I'm becoming more duffer-like with every passing day.

On a slightly related note:

A Honley Quarry classic from back in the day - but you try telling that to the youth of today and they won't listen...

I'm glad someone spotted this subtley.

Before you know it Pantene pro-V will be telling me he doesn't like that spitting image Chicken Song, Timmy Mallet's Itsy Bitsy Teey Ween Yellow Polkadot Bikini, or Cliff Richard's Livin Doll featuring The Young Ones.

Exactly.  Novelty records with people swearing out of context are where music's at these days, all the hip young things will agree.  Anyone who tries to say any different, just doesn't get it and probably still listens to cd's or heaven forbid... vinyl!   ::)

No its not grandad. Its a novelty mp3.
And what is wrong with finding swearing out of context funny/brilliant? Surely that is the root of most good comedy... Or some good comedy.
