worms flail me

i went to curbar last night and discovered that unbelievably some cockshafts have moved that large long boulder in the gorilla warfare pit (the one that used to be opposite the finish to GW, and before that never used to be there at all) and placed it directly under the landing of hurricane, along with a smaller pointy block behind it. I shit you not, basically if you want to try hurricane now you'd better be pretty confident of the flash unless you're comfortable taking a broken leg/back.

I find it hard to comprehend why anyone would do this. The block wasn't dangerously placed before, and it would take a fair effort (and a few bodies) to move it. I'd like to think that its not climbers who have moved it, but on the other hand i don't think any non climbers ever go near that boulder at all. I suppose it could be some local young scrotes, but you would need a fair few scrawny chavs with their pasty heroin-physiques to shift it, and i ain't never seen scutters down there of an evening. theres also some badly placed blocks appeared under the finish of the right wall of the boulder (the end of the historical GW) which i managed to shift to some extent. Still as it is right now you can't try hurricane unless you're huffy and doing it static.

If this was climbers who did this, then I would appeal to the aforementioned moronic ballsacks to go and put this boulder back and we'll say no more about it.

As the title of this thread says, words fail me.

(sorry if this has already been covered in another thread i ain't seen, cos i ain't been to curbar for months, it must have happened since about easter).

You dont mean that enormous block at the end of GW that sometimes your feet would clatter into do you? or is there another one?

Scut would have been at Raven Tor anyway ;-)

Ben - anybody who had moved the big boulder that your feet clatter into at the end of GW would be easy to find, as they would have probably been crushed to death by the GW boulder falling on them, seeing as that big boulder probably holds the GW boulder up! That would be a good tick shifting that one!

i find it hard to believe jerry would have done this slap problem in pre-mat days with that block there. as far as my memory goes i'm sure this block never used to be in that pit at all when i first started going there.

i still maintain it wasn't where you landed for hurricane. certainly not as far back as i can remember (lunchtime?). granted, i'm nowhere near as old as dense though. proper ancient youth.
