i'd lost the knack a bit after getting back from spain but am edging towards my best again. diminishing returns etc.

Its a shame DisgraceD Former Powerball World #2 Scouse Dave seems to have dropped off the radar. especially with genuine powerballs with counters only £15 on play.co.ck right now (i might get one for every male member of my family this xmas at that price).

my 15000 translated to roughly 11500, so 17000+ would be 13033+
Maybe.
Ordered a proper one now.

Cheers for link, a replacement for a tenner (250hz, no counter) is better than 40€.

Using old one sans counter - it's comfier, normal sessions, no speed runs, & more anti-clockwise.

scouse i recon you'll have to modify your technique with a genuine ball anyway word, so the scores probably aren't comparing apples with oranges. your orange was very rough and pithy, but a genuine granny smith's is smooth and crisp.

With one point-estimate its impossible to determine whether the relationship is linear/exponential/quadratic/cubic, you should have done maths instead of chemistry  ;)

I'd say that yours was more akin to a mango. Pleasingly smooth.

Any thread that extends to thirteen pages has got to be worth a bit of Nik love so here goes...

Got me one of these bad boys this afternoon during an impromptu shopping trip to manchester and:

First attempt just didn't get it at all, nothing, nada, thought you were all fools

Second attempt 9500-ish. Oh joy this is brilliant, I fucking love powerball.

Third attempt nothing, shit, fuck this, fuck this again sideways, fuck this twice more, once with hands once without.

Fourth attemp 10500-ish. I'm in heaven, forget the blowjob whilst watching princess leia in the gold bikini this is my moment and I am god

Fifth attempt 11500-ish. I actually shot my load and had to buy some new trollies in M&S.

But then I managed to wipe my scores. Why do these things not come with instructions? Anyways I'm obviously a lowly bumbler right now but am keen for it. Couple of questions:
1) How do these things work? I mean obviously pressing the on button too many times clears the memory (joyous discovery that one) but what do all the symbols mean etc. Is there a handy website based description of the powerballs functionality.
2) Will social services accept powerball as a valid reason for child neglect? Just in case the training gets a bit all-consuming...

Will post proper scores with photos when I can (I know my above approximations are no good Houdini sir).

Oh also one more thing my ball is already making more grinding noises that it did when I first used it and I've only done half a dozen spins, is this normal?

If its a genuswine NSD powerball then the site is http://www.powerballs.com/.  The instructions are here (standard) and here (250hz & Neon Series).

No idea, don't have kids, best ask

I'd say it is as mine (250Hz version) started making a fair bit of noise after not much use, but check the FAQ for info on maintenance.

Nik if its not got instructions AND its making griding noises check you've not got a Scouse-patented Optimism Grindingball i.e. cheap fake (I even saw cheap imitations on sale in Coles/John Lewis in town last week). The genuine ones have a full instruction sheets, and are fairly smooth sounding. should have come in a sealed box like this:

Got all that stuff apart from the instruction booklet.

The box etc is right, just no instructions in it. I think it is genuine, but when I post 20,000 I may reconsider....

Don't worry about the paper, you need to press the on switch once (to switch on & reveal hi score) - nb twice clears hi-score.  Then press L button to get the fuction you want:  crooked arrow is max rev in one sitting-setting.  Not to be confused with total revs in one sitting, which has a circular arrow around a dot.  The 30s 60s 90s offers to count max revs in 30 - 90s and starts counting as soon as innerball moves ie when you pull string.

Overuse:

You may find the metacarpals complain a little after too much power work especially if you're hands are small, watch what position you go for it in, it'll get you at the elbow if you over-do it too.

I got a ~4812 on the 30sec setting last night, but annoyingly i mis-timed and stopped with 3 seconds remaining (i wish the ball would beep or something) so probably lost half a K of revs there. that setting really gets you pumped stupid. shame my co-ordination with the lefthand isn't good enough to get anywhere near as busted with that hand.
