Magical day at Ysgo yesterday. Saw a small group of Dolphins/Porpoises, question is, which is more likely around the North Wales coast?

i saw a huge group when i was walking on cilan may bank holiday.  I estimate 15 to 20.  Sea went wild in front of them too as a shoal of fish tried to escape.

Thanks for the link Richie. I reckon they were Bottlenose Dolphins from the identification photo's on that site. Can't think for the life of me why I posted this here, it was meant to go in STS! Nice one anyway!

Probably. Apparently the entrance to the Moray Firth on the Black Isle is the best place for dolphin spotting in the UK (guess that it's kind of "places to visit" now?). We saw bugger all though.

Seen seals off Aberdeen coast last week, a bit earlier in year than usual.

I remember spotting them as a child from the other bank of the firth stood atop Fort George, I nearly dropped my ice-cream in excitment! Also, Spey Bay is a gpood spot for dolphin and seal spotting.
