Finger pain
April 28, 2010, 12:38:42 pm
Hi, I'm after a high quality internet diagnosis!

I'm experiencing some discomfort in my middle finger, it seems to be between the knuckle and first joint, possibly the area called the proximal phalanx (?). The joints are not sore. It hurts (its uncomfortable rather than serious pain) if I press on the area or pull down on a hold. This may be really common but just wondered if anyone has any thoughts?

Obviously I will head to the physio if it gets worse.

Cheers

Should really have included a ;-)

Cheers for the link, some useful papers there. Looks like it may be the A2 :( I had assumed from the little reading I had done that there would be pain around the joint for this sort of injury. Best get reading some more...

No beastmaker for me for a while
