I sometimes miss the fact that I have PM in my inbox waiting to be read.

Is there anyway we could have an alert, like a flashing mailbox alert or something?

I think in the past a new window used to pop up but pop up blockers prevent that from happening. I recieve mine by email which I think is enough.

You can set your profile to alert you with a popup. Also by email.

As dfm says, lots of browsers will just block the popup tho.

I still don't get an email even tho my email address is correct and is set up to send me one.
I used to many moons ago but have not for some time. Any chance you could sort this for us bubs?

you sure you're not blocking them at your end Jim? I still get notifications ok
