gimme advice
March 23, 2007, 03:16:15 pm
so the weekend is approaching and i have a problem.
i want to climb, and possibly to tick something.
the weather is going to be bad in many places, esp. the closest ones.
given that there are no flights to come north to the works, should i:
- drive 250+250 kms to go to ceriola (very good forecast) to try a project and get back home (alot of falling);
- drive 250+250 kms to go to rome and meet alot of friends at mega comp with bouldering vids festival (alot of plastic);
- go to home crags til lunch and the be washed out by rain (alot of swearing);
- get a train to paris tonight and play my chances to be at the works on sat (alot of money)?
- ????? more ?????

pleez help a brutha out yo.

From a personal point of view:
No plastic unless it's a bad forecast.
Projects are great as long as you are in the right mindframe.
Bleau is never a bad place to go.

The forecast for Brownstones is pretty good too- come over!!!

Especially not in a 2.5L Audi TDi.

Though I dare say it'd feel a way further in a passat, whether or not you'd previously managed to shoehorn in a badly fitting and value-swingeing audi interior.

Even so, its by far your best option.

answer often comes with good friends.

bored of whining, i resolved to call a friend (i mean a reliable one), who is very keen to go bouldering tomorrow, taking my good self to a secret spot, just one hour and half drive away.
no project ticking but fun for sure.
