North Wales Monday 20th
November 15, 2006, 07:20:15 pm
Anyone heading out this coming Monday in the North Wales area? I'll consider getting the train over if nobody is driving over from my way.

Rich, I think you mean Carrock Fell.  It's very good indeed.

Forget it dude!  It's going to ming forever.  99% chance of rain on the 20th.  You'll end up in the cave or the Beacon...  Both are wet inside.

yeah the forecast is VERY very depressing isn't it. The great british winter is back, wet and mild.

Aye Carrock Fell thats the one!

Looking in that mini topo there are some really nice looking lip traverses and ribs/aretes which look well worthwhile :) Just waiting for the autocrimp finger to get back to something approaching 'normal' size over the weekend! I hope the weather holds out though as the nearest indoor wall is probably Keswick and I found it a bit shite when I popped in the other week!

The 99% thang was based on the info contained herein.  They are not always accurate.

Might be OK for a fast drying venue.

Cheers all the same Houdini, but pretty sure I won' be risking a long lone train journey only to be greeted by a seeping cave or boulder. Probably will just go sea fishing as the cod are reputed to be in the Mersey at the moment. (And not the three-headed type which used to prevail).

Go to the f*cking Breck Tom.  If it rains, still go and clean it up for us all.
