Cheers Andy! I was down in the area for a few days doing photos, checking, new-routing, and general cider-fuelled* malarkey with Pylon King for his forth-coming Mendips guide. Alas duncan was feeling too tired/ill to join us. The sunset shot is just for you then.

Liam: ugh, I'm the weakest I've been on the Depot 30 board I've been for a year, including when I was still injured with golfer's. If there was a smiley with the wee yellow dude dropping a weight, that would be me.

I did notice and particularly appreciate the sunset! It's renowned for its sunsets.

Perhaps I shouldn't admit to this, but I had particularly vivid dream featuring you (Fiend) last night. We were climbing in some terrible Lancs quarry.

After getting a bit burnt out on endlessly projecting hard boulders, I switched things up this year, gave up on caring about grades (forced at first, but now I genuinely have no interest in them), and tried to document the highlights in this video. It's hard putting out a video which predominantly features myself as it feels egotistical, but I've tried to tell a story and hopefully inspire others to try something new (the bits of narration were particularly hard work but I've been persuaded to keep them in...). It also features a couple of mates (Garry Lister and Chris Locke) who've been interested in climbing similar things at times.

It's just under half an hour long. If you decide to give it a go, do me a favour and watch with decent resolution and audio

That one's a Hawkcliffe project. I heard Dave Sutcliffe had tried it too, so it will no doubt get done soon even if I don't manage it myself!
