Nice one. Intriguing. So much jumble up there, there must be some good ones hiding.
Good write up on your blog. I'll let you off with the downgrade - A - I'm pretty poor both at climbing and grading slabs, B - It was bloody ages ago, I'm not even sure bouldering grades were a thing at the time, the the grade will have been a retro-fitted tech grade at some point down the line.

Cheers guys. Ed - I didn't fully explore the woods but I presume the FA did have a scout around. The Honley Old Wood Quarry that you walk past is in dire condition and would need thorough cleaning but there might be stuff to uncover there.

If I can get a spare weekend day at some point I'll probably go check out the slab, and might as well have a meander round the wood while I'm at it.

Is it particularly slow or quick drying? Want to make the drive worth it.

  that's a beauty! If I was in Hong Kong, I'd be all over that (moaning about temps and granite crystals).

Ed - slab is in the trees but a detached block so no drainage. Any form of Westerly to Nor-Easterly breeze is good. If it is damp then Netherton is 5 mins drive / 5 mins walk and West Nab 10 mins drive / 10 mins walk (or Standing Stones 15 / 20)
