Totally with you there....Garden center pan pipes always get me psyched out of my mind!

Nice vid Kingy by the way. Jerrys autobiography made this venue sound like a shit hole, yet your video (with the help of the pan pipe dities) have made it a venue I may now visit.

Hopefully the reality won't be a disappointment!

Cheers guys, glad the video has sparked some interest. Im afraid I am stuck in Windows Moviemaker land hence the glaring fonts and backgrounds. I should really invest some time in getting to know a new video editor package but I'm usually out climbing instead! I have no clue what font looks best so try and rotate it round a bit, will maybe tone it down a bit for the next one!

Maybe I've spent too long at the cliff (or on peak lime), but I'm amazed that Jimmy got the FA of that 8B direct finish on the Dreamtime boulder, I would have thought everything possible would have long been climbed on that boulder. Especially considering how many capable wads have gone there. The obviously low start needs doing now.

Too much padding, although the scenery shots are nice, and too much fucking awful unwatchably choppy editing. Some of the sections are shit on a stick where the stick is also made of shit. That fucking slab after Dreamtime (the camera stability in dreamtime is pretty nauseating too) is beyond fucking terrible.

Pity as the angles and the problems are ace but often totally ruined.

More slick Movie Maker action: here's a compilation of highlights from the last year of finding new boulders within daddy pass radius of home, just north of Inverness.

Very cool GazM. There must be loads of hidden boulders in that area. We've been up to near Bonar Bridge on loads of family holidays and you often see the odd boulder by the road. I seem to remember a promising looking one when you go over Struie Road opposite the hill.

Thanks folks, it's been a fun year.  Andy, sadly no sandstone here.  All those problems are either on schist or erratics made of some kind of very crystalline granite (I think). There's sandstone not too far away on the Moray coast and out west (Torridon, Ullapool etc), so I can't complain.
