They're quite small crimps in a roof so you're right the lighter you are the easier it will feel.

Esoterica. There's much better stuff here, but this was a fun day.

Psychology at work.

I was trying that thinking it was 7a+ and spent a good 30 minutes failing. When I read the guide and found it was a mere 6b+ I did it on the next try.

Go figure.

Yeah the 7A+ sitstarts using holds on the arête, then rocks rightwards with a foot on the starting hold of KOS. I had to bellyflop the shelf to make it work. Maybe if I'd called it 6B+ before climbing it, it would have been easier...

Great vid Rick.

Quality indeed. Funny here because it provides a nice contrast to the endless lancashire bum-shuffling.

Very nice to see indeed. I like the no-soundtrack element to it. It really gets the mountainous isolation feeling over. After the first minute Mrs Donkey asked what I was watching. 'The brown hole project' wasn't a sufficient answer....
Good job. Looking forward to seeing more crushing from your part of the world

Bum-shuffling! Only one sitter in the last vid that Rick posted. I guess I should film more of the highballs.

Great video Sasquatch.

Quality video. Brilliant!
Especially pleased when people show genuine enthiasm and joy after a climb!
That thing must be fun to do, innit. I mean, climbing or rock.

You should! I'm left with the distinct impression that lancashire would be an amazing place to go bouldering if I was three foot tall, but well done for milking the place for all its worth  ;)

Oh dear. I know I posted a few lowball vids, but there are plenty of big lines too. Just haven't been filming them as much. Will try harder!

This for instance. Holder Stones project. This place is great for highballs.

Or this. Ring Ooze, 7B at Ousel's Nest.

Thanks all.  I was pretty excited by how the video turned out.

That last image looks more like a route than a boulder problem.

It's a boulder problem up to that point. E7 if you keep going. Here's Paul's FA.

Why was he bouldering/soloing in a harness?  To rap back down?  Why not just walk around? Mental?

Nice looking line.  Too scary for me...

Assume he'd been working it on a rope just previously.

Too scary for me as well.

Looks good - bit o' jesting on my part. I don't necessarily turn my nose up at low stuff. Although I do remember laughing out loud when I first saw people trying Fear of a Slopey Planet in the Pass (I was new to climbing). Later on I quite enjoyed climbing it.  Still, being tall means that I get pissed off if the crux is simply keeping arse-from-deck.
