   I think you might be getting soft in your old age JS, it's granite so of course it's going to be sharp don't think they look grim though.

There's a small circuit there the main events are Easdon Slab (V3), Easdon Crack (V5) and Easdon Arete (V8) which are all v. good problems, Still Fly looks ace too.

Well I thought they looked fun (though I have heard horror stories about the rock texture down that way.)

There's a lot in Lancashire though - from Silverdale lime to Bowland grit outcrops, to quarried gnarl, to Rossendale moorland grit and even the odd bit of sandstone. The three star classics here are pretty good.

Yup,  I was just being cheeky! Will miss the occasional Lancs forays when I move to Devon, I have used a couple of pdfs/wikis I think you helped on over the years R-man, Brownstones mainly so cheers for that.
