The move to catch the (now snapped) dinky incut, then the grab of the (now snapped) jug were pretty hard.
Has the sealing sorted out the sandiness then?

certainly seemed to have yesterday, there was virtually no sandiness and I managed to repeat the problem too. Both holds seemed good. Excellent conditions yesterday made it feel easy

Interested to see how this feels nowadays, I thought it was 7a prior to snapping but G thought 7b... I suspect it's not much easier than 7a either. Good effort Pasty!

Grande! You pathed it  :o

I forgot how good that roof was and how hard the last problem is! Must get there and try again.

Escaping the wind on sunday at Higgar Tor. Some slightly harder bouldering can be contrived amongst the green blocks past shit and piss. Made a nice morning out. The sitter to the scratchy bun arete felt pretty hard too, maybe 7b  although could be much easier not sure, anyone comment?

The melting butter and the little fist punch "high five" were great. Shame about the venue  ;)

Not sure it's that hard, if it is it'd be my first at the grade.  I was certainly having a good day when I did it and did some kind of trickery with my left foot that made the move for the small hold on the face static, can't remember what though.  I'm afraid another

thanks for  I guess not 7b, took me a few attempts so I'm saying at least 7a. which is only one grade harder than the V5 the standup gets - but then that felt more like 6b so more

I did begin to wonder whether the V5 was for a sit start, could be 6C+ which wouldn't be far off the mark.  But I think 7a would be about right, the move to catch and hold the small thing on the face is fairly tricksome so there's some added value there.  And most importantly, it's a very good problem.

I find it hard to tell if this, which I found whilst researching a tentative business trip to Bangalore(*), is quality or non-

I did, however, note with interest that on problem #3, involving dynos for big holds across a roof, the women(**) are the only ones we see making any attempt whatsoever to use their feet, and the only person we see completing the problem is a woman. Coincidence?

(*) Conclusions reached so far: Hampi for a weekend would be a long & strenuous trip involving sleeper trains both ways, and I know from a previous visit that Hampi any time from March onwards is really hot.
(**) df? hard to tell given the video quality.
