nice tom, that brought about a flash back to my own epic on the top of timeless!  Did you have the new guide?  I really liked that Autobody - was called Fixing the Car in the old guide when I was there I think though could be wrong....

Yeah it was called fixing the car. I don't know why they changed the name? The new guide is awesome. They did a really good job.
I flashed timeless and didn't anticipate having a hard time at the top, I just assumed it would be easy and then got up there and had an epic.
I thought Autobody was probably a bit soft, it took me twenty minutes to work out and I was on my own. Gibbs cave was pretty soft too. And Tatonka, although that is totally broken now, the big jug fell hold and part the rail came off.
Those were the only v8s I did and they all seemed a bit easy. I found harder v4s. For example Skin Graft shown in the video, and Kung Fu fighter at the north walls seems impossible. It was an awesome trip though.
I did some stuff im really proud of. I flashed a v6 slab called Bali song, which is the slab above superdyke. Before I went I had only climbed 7a (5.11d) and I onsighted and flashed loads of routes up to 7b (5.12b) then did my first 7c 2nd go. I also soloed Diedre which I never thought I would do. Soloed banana peel naked. That was a new experience. Climbed Grand wall with only 6 bits of gear which was interesting. I got to lead the split pillar which I was really anxious about cause I can't jam but I learnt pretty quick while I was on it. I did a slab route with called local boys do good with Toby (thesiger) which was good fun. Gave me alot more confidence in slab abilities. I came very close to Black Slabbath but never went back to finish the job off. I should have done really.

Hey Tom ... looks good to me ... can you add it the UKB on Vimeo group to give us an excuse to add it to the home page.

Anyone with a Vimeo account can add a given video to a group (providing the poster of the video permits it).

To this end I've just added it to the UKBouldering group, if the front page is basically an RSS feed of the group it should appear in due course (if not then who ever chooses the videos from the group to have on the front page will have to set it up).
