Effort. I think the grade disparity on Monologue is whether you can stick the top off that left foothold.

I didnt even try to do the finish in such an impressive static style. I guess I am only slightly shorter than Krank and he can`t be more than 5`11.(Sorry if that has stolen a few inches from you!) 

The slopey top out on the left can be avoided with a throw (with the left or right) to the top further right.

So the guide book has three errors

- It doesnt climb the left arete
- It isn`t "very morhpo"
- It isn`t V10

I told Krank the beta and didn`t actually climb it with Andy, but he had repeated it and was on the way down when we met and he informed me of the other arete. Inspired I then went and did it, much to my surprise (was on a semi rest day!)

I WAS (past tense) on a semi rest day. Things got serious and rest day was well and trully over when i knew such a quality problem was possible.

I believed we were talking about Monologue. It appears the ascent was done using both aretes (unless Andy has a done it both ways, which would not surprise me)

Therefore there is a very morpho project using the left arete, possibly worth  7c+ (although could be easier for those over 8 ft tall)

Some kind of Fire/Ballet type thing and I wish they still made them. I'm climbing like a tripple amputee at the moment, so anything with more friction than a rotten plum is good gear for my feet.
