...so the other half and myself have finally got round to up dating our website, ok I'll be fair she's done 99% of the work I've been making cups of tea and unhelpful suggestions.   Still the outcome is that we've managed to re-host the video's I've put together, the portland one is quite long so either leave it to down load or pimp fish it, the curbar one was on youtube but the quality was bollocks.
well have a look see what you think, for a couple of punters (at both websites and climbing) I'm pretty pleased with the outcome....

More non-non-quality for y'all yo. Do that clicking thing.

This is probably my favourite move in the Peaks if not the country. < 2meg

First time I've done this, after 5/6 attempts, due to nerves not difficulty. I was psyched for this for a year but it's quite steady really. < 4meg

Some kudos wall (mostly the press!!) action I've put together.  All just using video function on digi cameras, so quality isn't the best!

Nice. Except the music!

Wow, some great looking stuff there. A visit to Churnet seems indicated...if only I didn't live 3000 miles away!

This is perhaps quality for the outfit, but non quality for the overall assesment.

Uncle that outfit is....incomprehensible. Who wakes up and thinks "Ah, that's what I'll wear"?

Blunk....Churnet is an interesting one. It's a fairly unlikely climbing area but is getting increasing acclaim for bouldering. It is good, but then so are many more major areas.

I assume he'd just been spraypainted red, either that or he was on his way home from luge practice.

Ok, my first ever little climbing film.   :great:

Most definately falls into the non quality bouldering videos, but you have to start somewhere and learning to use the camera as well as learning to use Adobe Premier Elements, its going to take a little while to get used to. Footage is all from a tripod so not great angles, but bear with it, also lost some quality with Utube upload  ::)

It has sound if you dont mind gangsta rap!

Nice one Adam.  Personally I don't like the swipe effects but pretty neat.  Not today I assume as it's raining hard here.  I am a fan of using the fade transition to merge clips using a tripod.  Neat effect when used well.
I thought "Pasquill" had 2 "l"s?
I turned the sound off
How do you find elements?

Errr, yes, was last night! Edited this afternoon though.
Ill take note of the swipe effects, i was just knocking something together quickly, so didnt really play around.

It does have 2 ll's Oops...

Elements is good. Pretty easy to use and you can do most stuff you need though. I want to learn how to incorporate two angles into a shot, so you can switch in and out, rather than just having the climb shown in two different angles after each other a la Big Marine..... Need to get a book.

Do you mean picture in picture or flipping between angles by cutting?
I used the more excitin transitions when I started out but they started to get annoying after a while so I tend to just use differing length fades now.
Why did you edit Big Marine before you topped out?

Ifyou mean flipping between angles you kust edit clip lengths to the points you want the change to occur, then use a short transition (fade is best) between them.  Is this the sort of thing you mean (Ridiculous Eliminate)?  Faster transition would give snappier flip between views if you wanted.
