Steve, is there anything else on those Ingleby boulders worth going to have a look at?

There's some nice stuff on those boulders but it's all quite easy and the rock's snappy in places.  Some nice features though and there is a steep face which looks potentially promising but quite snappy too.  I haven't climbed on this boulder yet, needs quite a cleaning effort but might be worth it....?

Overall, I'd only fully recommend two problems so far across the entire crag - 'Waylander', the one at the end of the vid and a low start to 'No Prisoners' just up from the boulders is good at about 7A (stand is described in the NEengland guide).  There's a good looking highball affair still to do based on the left arete of the low prisoners block too, not sure how it'll climb though.  Perhaps a good place to escape the weekend honeypots!?

Nice one, cheers for the info- no excuse not to have a look now. It's a shame that the most of the rock around there is so brittle.

It's difficult to tell from that angle but at 1.45 he goes left to the massive jug whereas it looks as if the original way was to go direct. At 0.46 on here......

Does it make any difference?

Good effort anyway, it does look like a great problem.

It looks like a fella that was part of a big Polish team that was at crag x on Saturday. Dutch was complaining about being out-lanked because the guy didn't have to jump to the Moffatrocity starting hold.

There was also a vid on youtube of the guy Peter (with the long hair) doing the FA sit start I can't find it on there though. He also go's for the jug instead of direct, but to be fair this problem boils down to the sharp as crimp's.

These strong Polish lads have pretty much repeated every hard problem down on sandstone & done some nice FA's themselves. The second guy also has an impressive 8a.nu scorecard.

On a side note this face of the boulder has seen some recent chipping, but luckily doesn't affect any existing problems.

Too right!  When you're as weak as me lank is all you've got.

Nice vid Krank. That 6c+ traverse near Tier Drop looked like some nice moves.
