i have not been back. what a nightmare. im sure when i do get back there, and it is cold enough i will do it. 2 sessions, and it feels like a massive weight on me so i am sacking it off for a while. stuff to do up here that i think is more important.

no joke, ned is a beast, i also have footage of him doing the pit 2 different ways.

ive had too many beers.

Yeah you're probably right but I've found people are less inclined to watch them if you have to download them. What I might do is offer both mediums, i.e. a quick and easy Youtube version with a link underneath to download the higher quality original.

There is a Woodwell vid now up, nothing new but useful for anyone seeking beta.

Those vids are good, Greg. The quality on YouTube isn't the best- what did you upload it as? I try to get as close to the 100MB limit as possible, but it gets more difficult with increasing length of video.
Any plans for more videos? Great for beta and always nice to see

Oh yes I should have warned people about the socks in the r-hand arete video - I forgot to roll them down and was shocked myself when I played it back

Sorry Stubbs, don't know why that should happen - try downloading them?

They are taken on a Canon Powershot A640, which saves them as .AVI, and converted (and compressed etc) to .MP4 by some MPEG converter that was linked on here.

The last problem is an arete at Buthiers Piscine North, where Buthiers Piscine meets the road again. Lots of great aretes at Buthiers.

That's scarcely different to normal footage when it's been crunched and mangled by Youtube!

Blunk, it wasn't too hot out there - 20'C max and nice in the shade/evening. Hot enough for me to grease a lot but quite tolerable. Duro is pretty positive. I struggled on some rounded stuff.
