Hey I was just wondering what would be the best DSLR I could get for around £350 £400 and how good is the Nikon D50 as this is what I have been looking at.

I got the D50 and its great. most of the shots I post up on here are with the D50.
Also I recon D70's must be cheap nowadays especially as the launch of the D80.
The kit lens isn't the best but its pretty good and goes quiet wide.
The D50 usually comes out top in entry level dslr reviews

if you could drop on a D50 with a 18-70 lens that woulnd't be a bad setup at all. D50s may also drop in price soon when the D60 hits the shops.
