Pex tonight (wednesday)
September 20, 2006, 02:19:33 pm
Am planning on shifting a large chunk of homework in my free next period and am definately up for some Pex after school. Any hard men willing to show me the moves on breakaway or catalepsy might just earn themselves a bite of my choccy bar if I end up going (and Im not one to part with food lightly).

Any takers?

dont worry about it dude. THis forum is even newer than you are anyway, so its all fine. Did you go to Pex? did anyone show you the way on breakaway? hasnt it been chipped? has anyone done it recently?????

Think theres been quite a few ascents as people try out the "new hold". A once crappy layaway crimp has now been made pretty bomber. No one else was there! AND I failed on the Pisa Travers at the last move even though its easy because I was so pumped. I can do all the moves it just knackers me. Like my very own easy, horizontal Raindogs.

Not dissing UKB or anything but Im not sure if this forum category is such a good idea. Seems like it probably doesnt get checked that often.  :-\

tis a good point, as its a sub forum it does make you wonder whether people will look...

It's not a sub-forum.

Most people use the "view unread posts" link so no reason why it shouldn't be seen.

Where else would it be better though? No point in putting it in the main bouldering forum, coz these sort of hook-up posts get lost, and tbh they're not really relevant to bouldering discussion.

But...it is a new forum and if it proves not to work out then I'll rethink it. Give it a while longer.

Personally, I think it's a great idea. As you say Bubba, requests have a tendency to get lost in other regions of the forum. At least this way, everyone can see at a glance, what plans/requests/lift shares are going down.

Pisa wall bouldering tonight. I know its a long shot but that thing has a knack for staying dry unless seepage has occurred. Will it rain over these parts tonight. I havent climbed in about 2 weeks.  :wall:
