Another vote here for Kenny, some great lines in that film:http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0822389/quotes although they missed the "I drink beer like its about to come into fashion and I'm a trend setter"

Also watched the handover last night which although not great was pretty good and to be honest just the sort of thing I needed to watch last night

Sounds intriguing, esp if you are a Boosh fan.

I couldn't sleep last night and at 3am I had had enough of The World Service and there was fuck all worth watching on telly.

Then I remembered my wife going on about how good Unleashed was - she'd recorded it, so I watched it.

Fucking ace

Jet Li, Bob Hoskins and Morgan Freeman

Good fight scenes and a very good story. I can't believe I hadn't watched it until now

Saw this last night and thought it was quite good (I'm not a massive Boosh fan).  Had me laughing through the first 2/3rds, but it kind of lost its way towards the end.  Worth watching though.

Watched law abiding citizen the other day. Very good. In a predictable kind of way.

Re Avatar.

Quote
"Oh God. Blue cat people. What have I done?"
Quote from: that article
Office worker Tom Logan, who watched the trailer for Avatar during his lunch break, said: "Despite a lifetime of cultural conditioning to believe that massively expensive things are inherently good, I can honestly say the thought of spending three hours watching glorified Thundercats lobbing stones at robots makes me want to pull my foreskin up over my head and bark like a dog.

"That said, I'll probably still go and see it."

James King just compared Avatar to Earthsong.

James King just compared Avatar to Earthsong.

Dark Comode said it was baggy, predicable but surprisingly enjoyable - a spectacle...

He also liked Sherlock Holmes - which looked like a monstrous pile of turd from the trailers, so I might have a look at that over Xmas...

Sherlock Holmes does look pretty flange. Some things should be ridiculous (2012, Avatar) and some shouldn't (Holmes).

Just watched the 2005 Dukes of Hazzard on ITV2. 3rd time I've seen it. Still good. Not in a cultural way, but still very good.

Actually, the deliberate contrasts to the original series make the whole thing pretty Cultural.

Jessica Simpson.... mmmmmm

What a formula! Jessica Simpson looking hot, fast cars, Willie Nelson telling Dad Jokes and Burt Reynolds in a big hat.

I know it's been mentioned several times before but I saw In Bruges the other night. I expected it to be good, but not that good.  Almost the perfect black comedy.. brilliant!

agree completely as I have probably said before. Talking about black comedy, glad to see Bad Santa got a showing last week, may have to dig out the DVD. surprised it got a terrible write up in the paper, its a modern day xmas classic!

Saw Avatar last night, here goes...

BRILLIANT! Best film I've seen this year and I don't care what you all say!

Obvious? Yes very, but oh so involving and pretty.

It was the first film in ages that came out of feeling sad because I'll never get to see it for the first time again.

Bring the hate...
