saw harry potter on saturday - log. nothing happens. apparently it's not a lot like the book either. it feels like there should be one movie left but apparently they're splitting it into two, just to rinse us i suppose.

also saw moon last night. not bad a low-budget sci-fi flick. sam rockwell very good - he usually is.

I may start up an exclusive members club for people who, like me, meet the following 3 criteria:
  • Have never read a Harry Potter book
  • Have never seen a Harry Potter film
  • Intend to go to the grave with the above two facts still true

Me too. I am proud of the fact I am potterless  :)
(though I think I saw 1/2 of one of the films on a plane once)

my shortie watched one on a plane - i opted for watching the same episode of Third Rock From The Sun 9 times on the trot instead. "transmission incoming from the big giant head" - classic.

Never seen / read any of them.......

Britain flocks to childish wizard rubbish.

Quote
"I bet if Joseph Heller wasn't dead he would freely admit that Barry Magic and the Trumpet of Chaos makes Catch-22 look like a right load of old shit."

There's something very wrong about all these adults who don't normally read anything other than The Sun going mad about a series of children's books. The ex husband of a bird I work with is a 6'4" 40 odd year old truck driver and he's a massive Potter fan. Worrying.

It might have been made 52 years ago, so excuse me if I'm a little late in pushing it, but tonight I watched a damn good film. Twelve Angry Men has got to be up there with the best court room / jury films I've seen. All based in the jury room of a guy on trial for first degree murder, the jury must decide whether to send him to the chair or not. So refreshingly simple compared to the majority of modern films that just try too too hard! If you aint seen it, do so.
