Just thought you might want to look at the money for old bolts thread, a couple of ideas to get some cash together.

I'm just talking about it's relevance for me (and perhaps other low-mid-grade climbers) and explaining my original answer.

The relevance to you Fiend or to anyone is that even if you don't climb these re-equiped routes you will know that firstly lots of others will enjoy them and second that they will do so safely. That will surely make you feel good.....see you do benefit.

How feasible is it to set up an account which i can make a standing order to? Would be pleased to make a monthly contribution.  :ang:

Any other form of regular contributions are likely to be missed/forgotten by me. In the same way i will forget i have been contributing via a standing order. ;D

Cheers

We have set up a NatWest bank account that the Paypal account transfers into. Do you know what details you need to set up standing order. Thanks Tim

Ok set it up. scarily easy.....

in fact any details of how much the bolts/hangers/resin or what ever costs? would be nice to donate x bolts worth etc rather than a random x pounds.

Cheers
Tim

Am in the process of getting quotes on fixings. Have not yet decided on what type of bolts to use. Need to talk it through with others, but my preference is for a combination of 12mm x 110-150mm stainless throughbolts with Petzl Hangers and some form of 12mm glue-ins, the best options i've seen so far being threaded studs and hangers or the Petzl glue-ins. I'll post some unit costs when I know what we are getting.

PMs and emails are handled differently, though you can do both through this forum.

You can configure PM notifications from your profile page. You can set it up to send you an email when you receive a PM, but I'm not sure whether this feature is turned on by default.

I would be happy (pending approval from my employers!) to have a collection box on the climbing counter at Outside in Hathersage. message me or give me a call at the shop and we can discuss it.
