Guys,
 I am pretty new to this bouldering game.I took a trip to Burbage South yesterday and struggled like hell with lack of friction.Problems I had bagged with not to much trouble became a struggle.
 At what temperature should I just stay at home and save my skin?
I was at Cratcliff last weekend,no problems(other than lack of skill) I guess the temperature was low twenties.

Give the Grit a chance to breath during the summer.  Everything will feel very hard and you're going to waste skin and chalk trying to get up warm ups.

Try the limestone, its the new grit

If you get up at the crack of dawn first thing in the morning it can be worth it, evenings suck cos of midgies unless there's a decent breeze.

Or.

Go on the lime.

Went to the Fairy Steps the other day, was roasting hot, but a light breeze and the plentifull tree cover ensured top conditions and loads of climbing.

 Where is the best place to go for my first limestone experience?
Is there any bouldering in the Wye valley area?This would be ideal as I live in the south east.

save the grit for the cooler temps.

you live in the south east so get down the sandstone when its hot, there is loads of quality to be had/

Granite seems to be pretty sweaty in the heat too, is that right??
I was trying this problem for a while in Gelndalough, Irleand and went when it was real sunny only to find I could hardly stay on the thing!
