Dry Yorkshire Limestone
May 25, 2006, 09:28:09 am
I've got the afternoon off and was thinking of doing some routes.  It's been pretty wet for the last week, but has been a bit drier yesterday and today's looking ok.  Anyone got recommendations for dry rock?  I was thinking giggleswick as it dries quickly, but would rather somewhere a bit longer really.  Any chance Chapel Head Scar will be dry?

No it was lifted a few weeks ago.  Someone put some time and effort in to investigate the nests/birds and there weren't any on the climbing buttresses (or something like that the full details are on ukclimbing).  It's been updated on the access database on bmc website too.
